Private Preparation & Backstage Space The Dressing Room provides a convenient and practical space for performers, speakers, event organisers and guests requiring a private area before or during an event. Located adjacent to the main venue spaces, the room offers a comfortable environment for changing, preparing, storing personal belongings, or taking a break away from the main event. It is particularly well suited for theatrical productions, live music performances, presentations, weddings and other special occasions where a dedicated preparation area is beneficial. The room can also be used as a green room, interview space, meeting room or temporary office for event management teams. Cancellation Policy
1. General Rules & Access Compliance: The Hirer must comply with all General Rules and regulations (licensing, fire safety, Local Authority). Restricted Areas: Access is strictly limited to booked areas only. 2. Booking, Facilities & Charges Requirements: Notify the Bookings Secretary in advance regarding bar or kitchen needs and cover any extra charges. Catering & Sales: Bring your own crockery/cutlery unless pre-arranged. If selling goods/food, follow Fair Trading laws, hygiene rules, and register caterers with Powys County Council Environmental Health. Display total prices clearly. Only the Centre licensee may sell alcohol. Heating: May only be switched on 1 hour before the event starts. 3. Safety & Staffing Supervision: The Hirer is responsible for overall supervision, including car parking and ensuring children are safely monitored at all times. Alcohol & SIA Staff: If alcohol is available, qualified SIA door staff are required throughout (2 staff for the first 100 attendees + 1 per additional 100). Fire Safety: Keep emergency exits, alarms, and extinguishers clear. Appoint a Fire Warden for the event. No candles allowed. Electricals: Any brought-in electrical equipment must have a recent PAT test. No Smoking: Strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises. 4. Setup, Cleanliness & Damage Restoration: Return all furniture/equipment to original positions and secure all windows and doors. Cleanliness: Leave the building, surrounds, kitchen, and stage clean/tidy. Remove all rubbish, litter, and food remains. Damage & Indemnity: The Hirer is financially liable for any damage caused to the property, contents, or grounds. Unattended items are left at your own risk. Noise: Keep noise levels reasonable to avoid disturbing other users or neighbours. Illegal Use: Sub-letting, unlawful activities, or actions endangering the venue/insurance are prohibited. 5. Cancellations, Bonds & Fees Financial Bond: A bond may be required; it will be refunded if no damage or extra cleaning occurs (Committee decision is final). Hirer Cancellation: Must give at least 14 days' notice, or a fee may apply. Centre Cancellation: The Committee may cancel bookings at any time without liability for hirer losses (deposits may be withheld depending on reason). Acceptance: Completing the booking form confirms full acceptance of these conditions.
